Expansion of Temple main building

The expansion of the main TempleThe expansion of the main Temple is currently in the process of construction. As of April 2013, the excavation of the basement has been completed. This expansion will provide an additional 8,400 square foot area with the full basement. Once completed, the entire temple will have an area of 50,000 square foot, including the basement area. This expanded area will include the following facilities:

                               Alankara Mandapam (Providing more space in front of the Siva and Rama Temples)

                               Yaga Sala (For performing Yaga’s with glass doors for viewing from the outside)

                      Shoe and coat hanging areas

                      Expanded Basement with freight elevator and storage

                      Room with safety vault

                      Relocated Dwajasthambam with ornamental finish

                      Mini Entrance Gopuram

                      Arched gate at walk way entrance to the temple

                      Covered car puja mandir

Other improvements on our site will include an ornamental fence along Route 202/206 and a locked safety gate at the main entrance. The beautification of the whole campus, including landscaping with fountains, has an estimated cost of $4.0 million with an estimated completion date of May 2014.

State of the art Community Center  

 The Temple's Cultural Center is currently in progress. This dream, long held by many in our       community, is finally becoming a reality. The architectural drawings have been completed, and the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans will also soon be ready. 40, 000 square feet in total including the basement and covered verandas, the Cultural Center will include:

                                              A state of the art theatre

                                              600 capacity fixed seating

                                              Acoustically designed

                                             40’x60’ stage

                                             Green rooms

                                             Sound and lighting equipment

                               A 300 capacity multipurpose hall for small functions

                               Modern kitchen facilities


The cost for our future Cultural Center is estimated to be $8 million, with an estimated completion date of November 2015. The present community center will be replaced with an additional parking area.
